The new season has started with high hopes for all participants. As always the objectives are different, for some winning the league, for others furthermore to be qualified for international competitions and for many not downgrade.
The transfer market has been very active until its closure. There are teams that have signed great players in order to strengthening and reforming different lines within their play schemes. Nothing that is not usual in the competition and especially in the case of the main teams, serves not only the sporty area but also, why not say, economic. Do not forget that the clubs are also companies governed by economic criteria.
Regarding the timing of this first stage, consider that as early as the second day we have a break in the competition because of league matches national selection. I think this issue should be addressed once and for all, because when you reach the end of the season the players accuse the effort, training, travel, weather changes etc. As I said in a previous review, in the last World Cup I noted that many teams came clearly exhausted. I also suggested in the comment that long commutes should be avoided and try to lighten somewhat the competition. I think the leaders of sports institutions should consider this issue and propose solutions to fix it.
